The Paulo Freire Collaborative represents a community of university instructors who are committed to helping students improve their writing. Drawing inspiration from the training we have received from our own mentors, we recognize one-on-one guidance as foundational to student learning. Our precept is simple: to educate is to participate in a student's intellectual struggles. By shepherding student writers, we want nothing less than to educate the next generation of transformative thinkers.
